Big Plan II
Following the development of the 2020 Vision for Bradford District, a three-year Community Strategy was drawn up, to run from 2008-11. This Strategy was called the Big Plan. It is now time to evaluate how far along the road to the 2020 Vision the first Big Plan has taken Bradford District, and to create a fresh Community Strategy, to move us further towards the Vision. This updated Strategy will be the Big Plan II.
The Council and its partners are continuing to work on delivering the priorities in the Big Plan 2008-2011 (Big Plan 1). In the coming weeks information will be made available on how they are getting on with delivering these priorities.
In the mean time work has now started on preparing the next Big Plan 2011-2014 (Big Plan 2). Each Big Plan sets out actions and activities to be completed in the next three years with the aim of achieving the 2020 Vision.
Widespread consultations are taking place with a variety if partners, services users and community representatives. The process will be participatory and engage many partners at different levels.
