What is the Environment Partnership?
Bradford District Strategic Environment Partnership brings together public, private, and voluntary sector organisations that are working across the Bradford District to tackle environmental issues. The idea is that if service providers work together with the community real improvements can be made across the District. The Partnership's role is to identify the key environmental issues in the district and develop strategies on how best to tackle them. It identifies opportunities for joint working and provides a forum where information can be shared.

2011 Environmental Commissioning Needs Analysis
Bradford Council's Community Funding Unit (CFU) has requested Bradford Environment Forum (BEF) to update the environmental needs analysis for the district; this will then be used to assess how the CFU money designated annually for community focused environmental work will be allocated in 2012 onwards. Currently this stands at £54,881, with possible reduction next year. A BEF sub-committee has been formed which has identified five priorities for the district, plus several overarching requirements that would need to be met by organisations that apply for funding. BEF is asking for feedback and suggestions for this which will be taken into consideration when producing the final recommendations.
