Health and Wellbeing Forum

The Health and Wellbeing Forum works to ensure the involvement of the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in the planning, development and delivery of service provision through effective partnership working with the overall aim of improving health and wellbeing in the Bradford District.

Membership is free and open to VCS groups and organisations in the Bradford District working in or related to health and wellbeing or social care. Statutory partners may join as associate members; they cannot vote or stand as officers or community representatives.

The Health and Wellbeing Forum elects community representatives to sit on various health and wellbeing related strategic boards and groups including the current Health and Wellbeing Partnership and the new Shadow Bradford and Airedale Health and Wellbeing Board.

You can find out more information about the Shadow Bradford and Airedale Health and Wellbeing Board including minutes and agendas via the Bradford Council website

Thank you to all the groups and organistions who participated in the Shadow Bradford and Airedale Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board Election. Your votes have been counted and Natasha Thomas from Hale Project is the elected representative.

Representatives report to the Health & Wellbeing VCS Forum and other opportunities for representation come through the Forum. You may also observe the Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board meetings; details of forthcoming meetings will be posted on the Bradford Assembly website and also advertised through the CNet website and other communication channels.
