Key House Training Calendar 2011

Keyhouse is an accredited NVQ Training Centre offering Housing NVQs at levels 2, 3 and 4 in addition to NVQs in Management, Advice and Guidance, and Business and administration. It also runs Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses accredited by the Law Society for both the statutory and voluntary sector.

A new programme of courses will be run in Bradford and York in 2011 in addition to in house training that can be delivered to your door. Download their training calendar for full details.

Bradford Council Budget Proposals Consultation - NOW OPEN

Bradford Council has released its budget proposals for the next financial year. The Council wants to hear the views of local people, businesses and organisations about its initial budget proposals for 2012-13, which were considered by the Council Executive at its meeting on Friday, 6 January 2012.

Click on the link below to access the budget proposals in either PDF or Microsoft Word format. By using this link you can also have your say by using the online comment form at the bottom of the page.

The consultation will be open until Tuesday, 7 February 2012.

The budget will be determined at a meeting of Full Council on Thursday, 23 February 2012 when councillors will take into consideration the comments made during this public consultation, along with other consultations held previously, including the Bradford District Perception Survey, the Contribution to Care review and consultations about priorities for the district, held as part of the development of the Community Strategy.

Government and Voluntary and Community sector agree new Compact for working in partnership.A renewed Compact, the agreement which governs relations between the Government and civil society organisations in England, was published this week by Nick Hurd, Minister for Civil Society and Simon Blake, Chair of Compact Voice, the organisation which represents civil society organisations on the Compact.
